Title: 138 days and counting!

Since I took my leave of absence from my part time at Lowes, I’ve fished 138 days straight. About 80% from shore and @ 20% on the boat. I’m due to return October 1 and I still intend to fish every day even if its just an hour a day.

This morning I was catching some nice bluegills until the Sunday boaters started streaming by. I won’t miss them after the canal shuts down.

I’m curious to see how many days I can go in a row.

Pretty much got the big skunk today. One small perch from shore. I’m boating tomorrow.

Well, I finally missed a day. It was too darned cold the other day. 39 when I got up. My old digits just cant take it any more. Gonna have to buy a big bag of hand warmers I guess.

Got some perch this morning though. Water is starting to cool down finally.

Start another streak, just get the wool hat out. 10 day forecast doesn't look all that bad. 

I've been averaging  a trip a week but its been all saltwater as my local freshwater fishing has been putrid all summer.

East wind made fishing difficult. Managed a few smallish gills though. Lots of short hits.

There’s always tomorrow.

Raining and windy yesterday morning. Played in the Little Wood Shop instead. Got out this morning for an hour or so. Not much going on. Just a few little ones. Only “working” 2 days next week. Hopefully I can splash the boat.
