Garden ponds anyone?
« on: May 31, 2021, 08:03 PM »
Anyone else have a garden/koi pond?
I started a remodel of mine over the 3 day weekend.  First pic is after I already started, so no true before.  Couple pic of the work and where I left it. A lot more to do but happy with the progress.

I too have a koi pond. And I am going to be refurbishing it this week. Not real excited about it, but it’s time for a refresher. Mine is about 4 feet deep and has a pretty substantial waterfall. I’ll post some pics when I get started.

Got the bog filter liner installed last night. Filled it up to set the water line. Installing distribution pipe and Pea gravel tonight.

I honestly wish we never did...it’s like having a swimming pool. Always something going on with it...

I know what you mean. The reason for my remodel was to try and cut down on maintenance.  After tons of research I eliminated my mechanical and uv filters and went with an intake bay and natural wetland filter.  I shouldn't have much maintenance besides thinning the plants in the wetland.

Sounds like more of a headache than anything..

If you lend someone $20 and never see that person again, it was probably worth it.
