I always put a #14 swivel about a foot above my hook. I like to use about a 12 to 15' leader, that way when I'm gillin in deeper water I can slide my stop to whatever depth I need. I've never had any issue with the alberto hanging up or being bulky.

That’s what I use to tie my leadcore to braid, and the flouro leader to the leadcore.
