Today, given how high the streams were due to all the rain we've had, I decided to give Windsor Lake (Fish Pond) in North Adams a try.
On the drive up, as I headed north on the back road and looked to my left, I could see a rainbow over the town dump . . . a good harbinger.
I got to the Pond a little after 9 AM and fished till a little after 1 PM.
The weather was cool (low to mid 40's) and partly sunny with occasional sprinkles.
Over the course of four hours, I landed sixteen sunfish, one 9" perch, one 12" brook trout and two 15" rainbows.
