Title: Canal Lock Hours!

 >:( The N.Y. canal hours are a joke! They close at 5 o'clock and open at 7. In the fall the fog is so heavy in the morning you can't move until about 8. They close at 5 and many days in the summer it's light until close to 9 o'clock. We travel 2 locks to fish a spot and have to leave at 2:45 to get back on time. The lock attendants tell us it's because they don't  want to pay them. Who ever is running this mess should be replaced.

The Power Authority was given control of the canal system......
