Thought some of you might find this interesting. This is a picture of "Scuffy". She was a doe that showed up for 9 winters at my nephew's. She was not there last year. She was a small doe that we "never" saw her with young. Not sure if she ever had fawns. I saw her 2 or 3 times while I was hunting but always late in the season....h2l
My wife's cousins in Conway SC have a doe that has been in the neighborhood for 18 years. Darla comes when called and when she has had fawns she doesn't bring them with her. It's crazy and in a rural area where you'd think she would get shot but she sticks around and sleeps on people front porches. And they know how long because she was abandoned by her mom and they bottle fed her but left her outside to roam free but she obviously imprinted on them as family and pops in often.

Wouldn't believe it if I haven't heard about this deer forever and hadn't met her on several trips along with the pictures. One of the boys tells a story of hunting behind the house and having a doe come into the bait pile, which is legal in SC, and he actually called her name out to see if the doe lifted her head and would come to him. It obviously wasn't Darla and he laughs telling us how fast that doe tore out of there.

Great job Mcully. That is a long nosed doe.

I was out with the ML yesterday and saw nothing but snowflakes. It was a perfect night though.

Another one with the bow. Nice with little snow still.
Nice pics of survivors and that second one looks pretty good. Must have hid in someone’s yard.

Few weeks ago just up road off a trail was a 💩 ton of garbage dumped , I made the call an officer showed up and 2 days later it was all cleaned up , I got a follow up call to make sure I was aware it had been taken care of
another time a logger cut trees on my property the officer , the forester , and the DA handled that with a favorable outcome
 👍
Personally I don’t mind seeing them when out fishing as they are doing their job
Last time when boat checked we had a nice visit with a pair of officers

I too have many favorable meetings with the DEC.
On another note, good luck smoke pole hunters. Last weekend until after Christmas. I'm ready

Don't you wish the authorities could be riding by at just the right time and catch the scumbag?
