The deer take has been heavy on the bucks lately. It doesn’t seem to matter how many doe tags the DEC hands out. 

I am hoping to get my mom out once for the Holiday hunt.

Yup. I take all the doe I'm allowed or button buck
I'm in it for the meat and the bones for dogs...nothing tonight but will be out tomorrow and Tuesday then 26th-1st

I am in Tioga county NY Soo many bucks including big bucks still out there see them every day by my house and on camera at the farm I have been burning every tag I have filling the freezer 6 deer 6 different weapons so far

Make it 7 had at least 9 deer in my yard hitting acorns knocked down a good doe for my neighbor

Thanks I have only taken a doe and bear with my handgun so next season I am going to try to get a good buck with it
