Always catch at least one on april first I just fish in the warm spot by the end of the big white pipe in Jacks Reef

Last time I fished Cross Lake I got a 12" pocket perch. Got it 3' down over about 6' drifting a dingleberry.

Pocket perch? Is that related to the Trouser Trout?

I caught one of them too, on a red and white daredevil. It was the same color as the daredevil and their was a string coming off of one end of it.
