early port bay panfishing

im taking my 6 year old neice fishing today. on the menu will be spikes and worms . we will be tightlining and bobbing for any thing that bites. and yes this little lady can fish, bait her own hook and trys to take the fish off. i took her last fall perch fishing and had a blast!!!!!!!!!!! ill let you know the results later on. tight lines.

it was a short day ,my neice didnt dress warm enough. we fished from 9am-1pm and caught about 1oo perch from 7- 9inches. they bit spikes on jig heads and a size 6 hook. on bottom and bobbers real shallow water. she caught about 2o herself. not bad for a 6 yr old. i kept 30 for the table mostly squirting males. tight lines.
