I'm jealous of your fishery near you, Hi Richard!

you've got the winter fishery. I've got a good summer fishery...no need to be jealous..

Still a few years away from it Richard... I'm only 62..

No not in numbers and the few around are very small that I've seen. Keep in mind I fish P-scat and north can't speak for more southern areas

We got a bunch of 28 to 33" fish last night in the river.  Hoping for some bigger ones,  I'll be getting out in the boat next week.  I'm a little late this year.  Put in a new finder and did some rewiring.  Always takes longer than I think.

Nice Skinny...Its getting better out there. I still havent been getting any over 27" fishing from shore, even though I hear there are big ones around. mostly fishing the river, but tried a couple spots off the beach thatr usually really good without much luck. So many micros this year, tired of wasting my time with them.
Good luck on the boat...

First time out this year.  Macks at 2KR and 8 fish from 24 to 29 in the river. It was a great day even with the fish...

Can't believe all the pogies this year! Fish still seeming to prefer to target macks when applicable though

Made a trip down to Niantic, Ct this past weekend to fish with some buddies and Captain JohntheRek. Got into some decent sea bass and I caught a bonus 21" flounder. Perfect conditions Saturday. Here is a few pics.

Keeper bass and flounder.

I'm hardly a salt if I lived closer maybe but no way I am going back to CT to live to be a salty. Only for a long weekend. CD hope you have been able to get out.

Bringing this thread back from the dead. Hope everyone is ready for the salt!

Been out the last 4 nights. Missed 3 fish and landed one last night (31”) released. Saw a few others caught 23-27”. Not sure if they’re holdover fish or not? SOL migration charts says schoolies are at the cape now.
