Hey guys, for those who do not already know there is a weekly bass contest on Lake Carey in NE PA. The contest is held every Wed. night and starts at 5:00 till 9:00 PM or roughly dark, contest end time is announced the day of and varies through the course of the summer. The contest is strictly a lunker contest as prizes are awarded to the heaviest 2 bass caught. It is alot of fun and a good way to break up the week. There are a good number of bass in the lake but the have seen it all, so the fishing can be challenging at times.

I used to do the lunker tourney up there... Just go up around 4:30pm and register.... it's pretty simple... No live bait...lures only...unless things have changed.... only things you need are a boat and a live well... It's pretty fun... I came in second once, but that was before they switched from having a second place prize... I'm in need of a boat to get back into it...extremely fun!

Anyone know of any tourneys on the susquehanna or lake Carey coming up soon?
