Mac, you’d probably appreciate this more than most.

I have Breasts, thighs and drumsticks soaking in Chiavetta’s since Wednesday. Hoping to get them off the Weber Kettle before the rain rolls in this afternoon

Mother Nature made me skip the Breasts, just slow cooked the thighs and drumsticks off heat. Here’s the before and after

I love my Weber!
Potstickers and egg rolls this afternoon.

Made the dipping sauce for the dumplings a bit on the "take your breath away" hot side. Been a couple hours and my nose is still running and my eyes are still watering. Not to mention burning lips.

I put up some chili oil for our oriental cooking a month or so ago. I guess it's gaining some potency. My Bride is a good sport anyway. She has developed her taste for spicy foods. No real complaints there.

I was going to make raviolis today, but the ricotta I got was pretty moist. Not at all a problem for lasagna and such, but too moist for ravioli stuffing.

So.....I'm making Bolognese Ragu' and home made  Tagliatelle......a hearts of romaine salad and Garlic toast.

Ahhhh...the Weber. That's a fine menu you're cooking.

I gave my gas grill away about 20 years ago and never looked back!! I buy charcoal on special 3 times a year, 400# at a time from either Lowe’s or the Depot and it last me all year. Although the stretch from Labor to Memorial Day gets a little thin....

I work part time at lowes. I buy my charcoal as torn bags appear for $1 or less.  Last fall they were closing out Royal Oak and Kingsford Professional in lieu of new products. I bought 15 bags for $1 a piece.

I'm good till well after Memorial Day.

Papillon! Ever keep smallmouth papillon! Just as good as walleye.

The bolognese was spectacular.

Garlic Parmesan toast

Bolognese all plated up and ready to eat

Hearts of romain with calamata olive, malt vinaigrette

I could stay quarantined for a good long while...if I had to.

Looks delicious, Bob!
I actually forgot to take pics of the perogis and shrimp as they came off after the steak.
Here are the Ribeyes though...
