I got out on the South Hoosic in Adams for an hour and a half late this afternoon.
Cloudy, humid, light sprinkles most of the time, with temps about 75 degrees.
Water was up, and going at a decent clip, but not roaring.
I started around Mullen Mayflower, and caught a 16" rainbow on my first cast.
A little further downstream, I caught a 14" bow by the footbridge.
By Old Stone Mill, I landed another rainbow, about 12".
Then I hooked and reeled in a 10" bow just above the small cement roll dam above Elm Rock.
At Elm Rock itself, I hauled in my sole brown of the day, at a whopping 10".
Finally, a few minutes after losing a 13" rainbow the first time it struck (and dug down like a brown) and snapped the line near the hook, I caught the same fish a little below the small waterfall downstream from Elm Rock
