FYI. Personal messages

Unless I am missing it with the new format, it looks like when you receive a pm you do not get a notification, you have to open your messages and check.

If I am missing it can someone tell me how to turn it on.

Not sure about on cell phones or pads.
But on any of my computers I get a notice.

Last week it showed something, but now nothing.

Look where it says My Messages should be an indicator there. Also you can go into your Messages area and select Change settings>Show a popup when I receive new messages.

I had a similar problem and could not find my "sent items" and Scott had me follow this;
Click the little arrows on the left. Or in profile look and layout select Use sidebar menus instead of dropdown menus when possible.

Everything is fine now, don't know if it's the same problem you had Glen?

Got it figured out, had go to "preferences" before  "change settings".

It looks like the default setting sends an email notification, but it was sending it to an acount I don't use much.
