Just came from my Zinnia garden, there were 4 Monarchs all at once. Are they staying late this year ?

We listened to the peepers while we where loading the boat in Standish last night, and had to fight black flies all morning out in the big lake...

I saw a couple of Monarch's  the other day.  Things are crazy with this weather. I haven't seen birds at my feeder for at least three weeks. The Maine Autoborn says it's not uncommon this time of year they can forage elsewhere?

This is the first year in my life I have had no birds at our feeders both here in Cumberland and up north on the lake. Even walking in the woods the birds have vanished?????????

I've seen a few monarchs around one of the ponds the last couple of days here in northern Indiana too.
