I can't believe you guys who catch 100's of walleyes every year don't save and bag the cheeks...   :o
Bruce there's an old guy that lives down the hill use to save them for me (because I'm a bad walleye fisherman) and that's exactly how I prepared them.   In pasta.... ;D. He can't fish anymore but I bring him some perch..
Wish perch had big cheeks... ;) I can catch some of those accuously....   8)
Just made cheeks and belly meat with pesto, extra garlic and butter over linguini from Sundays eyes.

 Got out this evening with snag and deadeyez , for some jigging , worked for our fish , , some really nice eaters , my best fish of the evening was a weed trout
 Which was released
