Title: river pike northern Indiana

I managed to stumble into a nice northern this afternoon fishing for 'eyes
A fellow down the bank said he either caught it or its twin in the same spot
the day before.....

I was fishing for walleyes....6# test with a3/8 0z free sliding dipsey sinker ahead of a
standard swivel/ the leader end was about 36" ending with a 1" soft
foam floating jig.  3 1/2 live minnow sealed the deal.  My fish was 31"
and the take was surprisingly soft.  He got fairly annoyed when I
stuck 'im and put up a nice fight.  I patted him on his pointy little
head and let him go.....

Got mine Fishin for walleyes as well. 3/4oz chartreuse head with a 4" gulp minnow. Normally wouldn't fish that heavy of jig but river was up quite a bit and the water discharge was on. Normally I'd fish 1/4-3/8oz

No eggs in it. Just 4 bluegill abor 4"-5" in its stomach

That pike didn't get pickled he was turned into taco's!!!

U ever boiled it and dipped in butter po man lobster I do it with gills boil them and then chill the but I use cocktail sauce
