Here’s an early season report
« on: Mar 22, 2020, 08:29 PM »
Been poking around the Stillwater this month, in my backyard and figured I’d see what’s shaking - Fallfish, baby perch, baby bluegill, a couple average holdover rainbows which became dinner, and two notable fish

14.5 inch (likely) native brookie

22.25 inch massive sucker - the suckers run pretty soon, so this guy prolly is working his way up to spawn

I thought it was some cool different stuff. Figured I’d share. Let’s get fishing!

Nice work buddy. I was there the other day and there were more suckers than stocked trout. seems early to me, usually they are a April thing. there were schools of about a dozen in every pool and pocket of deeper water I found.
