If you can post some pics, with names of the reels, my Dad is an antique dealer and he's familiar with old fishing lures, reels, etc and somewhat knowledgeable on items like this....I can have him look at any pictures you might provide and be able to give you some ideas.

I do know if you've got the original boxes that the lures came in, it greatly increases the value of them.  Any names of the lures will help him as well..let me know and I'll try and get you some answers, plus he might have a book or 2 kicking around that lists values of old fishing gear.....Esox

Old is not always the key, Brand is more the $$ maker. I collect old reels and tackle and have for a long time.I just picked up 2 winchester reels and 2 horton reels they were made in the 20's, they look just alike and were made in the same building, but the winchesters are 5 times more valuable to a collector.what are the makes and models.BB

thanks for all the replies guys.I did find a website but it was poor. One of the reels is in a case and instructions for the others are intact.no boxes for the others though.the reels are Johnson(closed face)...mitchell 301(open face)...shakespear wondercast(closed face)and a zebco "spinner"model33.they are probably not worth much but are in fantastic shape!
