I'm hooked on carp fishing! :D
-
nice looking pond i'm thinking feed them carp to the local raccoons and you'd get some nice gills out of there with a hair jig and bobber.............teasing nice video........... serious question is it legal to chum fresh water in new york state???
-
;D thanks!
I believe you can, on the carp fishing page on the DEC website they suggest chumming for them lol. I just don't think you can for trout.
-
The only thing that is illegal to chum with in New York state is fish eggs unless there's a special regulation on a particular body of water. Corn is the tip of the iceberg when it comes to free offerings while carp fishing.

Very nice video!

Thanks man!

the carp heads on my river and local lake have given me carp bait plus a sweet based corn they love but i like catching them on the fly rod the best ...no i'm not good at it but i have fun....great video

Fly rods are great fun for carp. So are the many other methods of fishing for them. I have a freezer full of different concoctions that all work for carp. There’s an arsenal of equipment in my collection specifically for carp.
Serious fun when the spirit moves me.
