Hampton Va, Any good fishing in the Month of April???

I will be in Hampton Va for the month of April and I would like to do some fishing. I am not sure about the salt water fishing this time of year?

I am from Maine and we still have 16" to 24 " inches of ice. I would like to wet a line and catch something.

Any help or tips would be appreciated.

 If the weathers Nice Id say try to get into some Rockfish (Stripers)  Once the water warms up they should move inshore... Tight Lines
