For those that don't have a lot of time to figure this out, go to minute 33.30 to get to the crux of the problem.  Although, I'd recommend watching the whole thing.  Conservation yes, preservation no.

If you subscribe to the school of thought that I do, you would say that humans and their activities are a part of nature... Just because we do not behave like other organisms, does not mean we do not belong here.

I think someone needs a new congress person in Washington.

Remember, if the conversationalists are not speaking common sense and respecting you as a part of nature, DON'T GIVE THEM ONE d**n INCH.  >:(

every year we loose more and more of Sandy Hook to the nesting birds. If you don't have the night fishing pass its barely worth going there over the summer since the beach set aside for fishing has such limited parking and the rest of the bach thats open is so full of swimmers you can't fish  :-\ :-\
