Lost an Old friend
« on: Dec 13, 2022, 08:11 PM »
Well, time has taken its toll.
My good friend and fishing mentor “The Old Man” passed last Saturday. He taught me how to fish for perch and panfish. We had many, many good days on the water and in the woods together.  Shared laughter, food, good times and bad. He was generous, forgiving and quietly supportive.

Gave me a hand up on several occasions. Not a perfect man, but a really good man. He cared deeply for his family and friends.  A man worth knowing.

Life goes on.

I’ll miss him being in this world
If you lend someone $20 and never see that person again, it was probably worth it.
