weather

I only get a occasional Saturday and Sunday off these days. Was hoping to get out this weekend but with all the wind and rain it looks like maybe next Sunday. That is if the weather is decent. Hasn't been much said here lately. I CAN UNDERSTAND. It won't be long and we will be switching over to ice shanty.

Bluegill are feeding heavy in bays and on points. Seems like they are everywhere. Perch are so/so. An occasional keeper. Don't know where the main numbers of crappie are now. I've been using minnows and bee moths on 1/32 oz. jigs, slip bobbers and Bobby Garland 1" baits, any colors. Depth is 5-6' near weed beds and drop offs. Wind affects you more than the fish when they are on the Fall feed.
