It's about time, finally last weekend Trout opened up here in Ontario. In my area, Ducks Unlimted runs a week long Greenwing event, they stock the canal and hold a 2 day event just for kids and then the rest of the week is open to us grown kids. They do cahrge $10 to fish for the week bu tit's well worth it, since the money does go to Ducks Unlimited.
They is also the chance you may "catch old Water" a 7lb monster they stock each year. Here are a few pics of some fish i caught and a slow rainy morning this week. (Nice colours on these fish)
