I need the part number. For the telaflex cable for 2006 pro v 1800 w/ mercury optimal 150. Has anyone replaced one. Part number tells length. I know if and how to measure it but it's still in boat. Thanks in advance. This huge I'll take any resource you guy got. Can't fish if you can't steer. Somebidy gotta know this

There should be a number on the plastic casing towards one end. If its no good just pull it out to get the number. Maybe tape a line to it before you pull it out as it might help to pull the new one through.

If I had the cable out this would be easy. I know that. Taking the old one out turns this into two day job. I would like to have new one in hand before I remove the old. Get job done in one day.

If there is any length visible try looking for the number. Usually it is embossed in the plastic and white. Maybe on the backside where you can't see it. Might have to get your head under other dash or back corner deck. Not being a smart ass but if you pulled it out this morning you could of had it in probably two days.

You asked sorry it wasn't any help , now your into 2 days already

Even if someone gave you a Part # how would you know if it's the correct one? Take it out and LOOK at it-

I'm not with the boat.
Boat in NH and I'm in MA
isn't this the Information Age boat 11 years. I thought maybe a gearhead could find info on here. Maybe an internet wiz kid could find it. But again the party line from all that don't have the answered. I didn't ask for how. I
Looking for a part number only. Just thought that someone else may have gone through this before me. Now it's the hard way. This part was bought by Lund and installed in this model the build sheets should still exist. Just saying

Well then maybe a call to Lund with year, model, length, ID number, serial number etc. they can give the info you're looking for.

the guy asked for help.
and you guys are busting his a$$
he's only looking for help.
I have a 2013 lund rebel XL
And it only has a merc 4-stroke 60 hp on it.
So I'm thinking mine might not be as beefy as yours.
But I can take a look at it for you this weekend when I get back out to the lake.
Send me a pm if you want me to take a look.

You try calling Lund
They don't have customer service. Factory reps don't speak with customers. Dealers don't answer phone. I've tried(3states)Even FB.(almost helpful) If your gonna spend 35k or more they should answer the phone. I've sent emails too(3days they say to answer.{maybe they got one left}). This is my last Lund! If it was a 66 Buick brake cable I could get number in 10 seconds. My Lund is like my exwife she nice to look at but to much work I'll go peddle my kayak in the ocean. DONE WiTH LUND

Well that sucks- Lunds are supposed to be the cats' meow-

Not true at least with the dealer and with the rep I talked with , I had an issue with my 2007 , 2025 le called a dealer he called Lund for me , told me to give them a call and i got through and they took care of of my problem with 1 call

Teleflex is teleflex. It's not that complicated. Take the old one out, take it to a dealer or order it online and get a new one. It's not Lund specific. Teleflex steering cables are on millions of boats including mine. A 1972 Capri.
