I very seldom started today with what was working yesterday. I start with new color, new size, etc. Then if it is NOT working I will change. Maybe to what worked yesterday but I will change. I have been burnt many times fishing what worked yesterday for too long. Most of that was when I trolled blades a lot.

These days I usually have 3 rods in the boat with jigs on them. One rod with a black jig, the other two have perch jigs. One black head and one brown head....h2l

I will remove the weapons that worked the day I fished, change the leaders and put them right back on for the next day. Hard water and open water. Always....🎣

Just a heads up to all those that purchase no-ethanol gas at the Fast Trac in Cicero on Rt 31.  It is NO LONGER NO ETHANOL!   Not sure how long it's been since they stopped selling ethanol free gas, but I didn't notice it last week when I filled up.
Would have been nice if they put up a sign that was noticeable advising of the change instead of the little itty bitty sticker on the pump that says it contains 10% ethanol.

Real nice!😡 I bet the price was the non-ethanol cost too! We buy from the Pulaski store. Now, I gotta take a trip and check for the 10% sticker on the non- ethanol stations. Thanks for the heads up KF!!
