That is what I look at everyday. I can tell how deep the water will be on my spots before I go out. How much it has dropped since I last fished a spot, etc...h2l

I didn't catch them all. 6 walleyes (3 were keepers) 3 SMB and ONE rock bass. All on jigs. Water temp 76. Dropped 3 degrees with the rain....h2l

Just got home and shined up the boat before the rain came. Three must be the magic number H2L as I sent my buddy home with our keepers(3) and we tossed back another few. All trolling, was going to jig but the action was just good enough to keep me interested.

Tested the new fishhawk out and Was impressed. The temperature was low to mid 70s all the way down to about 30’ then it broke and dropped to ~65-62 degrees.

Once the morning clouds broke and the sun/boaters came out the bite got tough.  Headed off the lake around 11. NOW it’s time to do my house chores... :-\

Went out yesterday in the afternoon. 8 walleyes (3/4 keepers) a SMB and a 35" pike. Took a while to get the pike into the boat. It made some great runs. All released....h2l

I have been getting out 1 or 2 times a week. Fishing has been good if you work for them. Last time out was on Friday (8/10). The surface water temp was 81 out on the lake. Most of the fish I got came from 25 to 32 fow. 10/11 walleyes and 6 bass. Jigs and lighter colors than in the past. Very little water coming into the lake. East and West Stoney are just about rock beds. Sacandaga not much better. Couple more weeks and the boat traffic should slow down. Some week days are almost as bad as weekends use to be.

Very few of my "go to" spots are producing many fish, if any at all. I have heard the same from others. The only thing I have come up with, is the very warm (hot) weather we have had since July, very few true raining days and the very un-stable weather pattern....Good Luck....h2l
