You’re not gonna believe this but I was thinking about how I could actually do this.

Lol

Had a great week.
2 days of solid east wind had the fishing very sloooow.
But we caught fish.
And had a great time.
If you have never been to northern Ontario, you owe it to yourself.
The beauty and solitude cannot be matched.

Here's a pic of the first fish I got on that jigging rod Jeff built for me.
It's small, but huge in my eyes.

Here's a bud with a nicer fish -

Here are a few from one of our shore lunches -

Frank's Falls -

A few of my boat at the marina -

And here is the trailer they use to get your boat up over the dam to get to the lake -

Mac,

Thank you for sharing! Looks like you had a good time. What's it like at the border going up and back? Any hassles?

I could do shore lunch three times a day. The best part of the trip. Them cast iron frying pans are the best.

We had zero problems
Coming back across to US customs guy walked back and looked inside boat
But was easy
I left off my trailering cover to avoid hassles but saw many other boats at bridge with covers.

Her’s a pic of us going up during the stop at duty free -

Thanks for sharing.  I have a special place in my heart for Ontario.  My granndpa owned a cabin up there when I was growing up.  Two weeks every year before school started.  If you were lucky maybe a early and a late trip too.  My great grandma would go up early and just stay as other groups came during the summer.  Can't imagine anything better as a boy growing up.  Just wish I would have had the 14K to buy the place when he sold it in the early 80's.  Thanks again for sharing your experience!
