Good job on the eye, and I commend you on the action you took with it.  I know a lot of people would probably eat it (nothing wrong with that), but thinking of the future of the fishery and using 'dinner' in such a way, is worth a:   :clapping: :clapping: :clapping:

Finally posted a pic.

It isn't really huge but its still an Eye and I was happy to get it.  After talking with Eyedoctr I'm going to try a few things and see if there is more in the lake.  Thanks Pete for the tips!!

Most likely its going to be CPR'ing!!  If I can find a system then I might keep one more for the pan but mostly its a catching mission only.

Nice fish a prize for non lake Erie or large lake fish. VERY RESPECTABLE fish and actions. I love to eat yellows and it would have made it into the Pan I am afraid to say. And no I do not keep all legal fish, but i do have a special place in my gut for crappies, perch, yellows and gills.
No trout, bass, or pike except for the winter.
You do look like a marine.
PS I also like to tell people how to catch em but not where put the pieces of the puzzle together and fish and explore who knows what you'll get!!!!!!
