Agree.  Any Tax Assesors office will send them to you.  Keep them on you and show the authorities or anyone really, as needed.  I will say though sometimes even that doesn't work.  Depends on which officers answer the call.

Some counties even have tax maps online (I know Hamilton county does). Then you take the tax id and search the tax rolls to find the owner and his/her mailing address

onXHunt app for your smartphone.  has all the information and land owner name and mailing address (from the tax rolls)  I use it all the time to see who owns lands adjacent to where I hunt trap and fish.......

As far as I can tell the area belongs to Harris Bay Yacht Club?

Yep...tackle wrappers, worm cups, cigarette butts, etc. I used to pick that stuff up on my way out every time I was there. One time though someone even dumped a huge pile of steaks and fillets and various other meats in the grass there. Stunk for a solid month.  >:(

I guess I will be contacting HBYC to see if I can work something out personally. I have been hand launching my canoe there for years. It was great being able to set out at 3AM or literally whenever you want on the hottest fishing bay on the lake.

Will really be interesting when hard water season arrives and people want to access Harris. Think that's when people will really start to get upset about this.

Sorry to hear Neil
Some People just don’t care what problems they cause for others but will complain when accesses get shut down 🤬
