Trapper your to funny..you said salmon taste like crappie if you cook them right...I had to to pry my eggs out of his hands he was gonna go home and have steak and salmon eggs for breakfast...trapper is a good net guy to have around......that's how he gets his fish.....

i never said they taste like crappie ....crappie arn't my favorite fish and i did get 2  hens by netting them =))....heck if i can get 10 pounds of salmon eggs  for nothing i ain't looking a  horse in the mouth

after the rain ,as expected  the water came up .... 6300 cfs right now ,becareful if you fish   and follow the warnings and lights .... you can get borrow a PFD  free of charge next to thefish cleaning station ,if you have any question the river stewards are there to answer them .....

They need something like this at oak orchard below the dam.  I was unaware that you needed a PFD and it really limited the area to fish and a lot of the fish had pushed up toward the dam.  The guy at the tackle shop was nice enough to try to sell me a $50 PFD but I don't need anymore when there were plenty at home.

rave   I looked  at the water  discharge  site and it said it was  6000...total  BS  it  was  3500 tops   lot of  people at  dam  and they are  killing browns too

Managed a nice male at the dam before they blew the horn. Wasn't awful crossing. Didn't feel like waiting it out and fighting for a spot again and so we took off. Hadn't had much luck the rest of the trip so it was nice to put a fish on a rope.
