I just installed a Humminbird 798 in my boat. I usually fish the smaller Fingerlakes. Conesus, Honeoye, Silver, etc. I will also be on Canandaigua and Seneca on occasion.
I know the bigger lakes are detailed fairly well, But do the maps show any more detail of the smaller lakes than the DEC maps? I really can't see spending the money if there isn't much improvement. Thanks
