New toy

My neighbor was selling his 1965 StarCraft 18 footer with a 1978 70 hp evenrude. So I pulled the trigger.

Digs,
Looks very well maintained.
Lots of space. Should make a nice family and trolling boat
Well done

Nice old boat looks to be in excellent shape, she will still give many years of enjoyment.

Must be a good time for new toys!  Congrats digs.  Make sure you check Google tiny boat Nation and look at some of the stuff on that site.

I am picking up a new toy Monday, somewhat related.  '19 tahoe premier RST.  Gotta have something reliable to pull the boat right?

Good luck with the new craft im sure it'll be fishy in no time.

Hopefully I'll find time to use it but it was such a good deal I couldn't pass it up.

Nice, I love my little Starcraft. They are great boats. Looks like that one got some vinyl on the floor at some point. Nice upgrade. Along with tiny boat nation, look up tinboats.net. Good resource for older tin boats.

Your going to love that rig!  My godfather gave me his customized 18 ft. Starcraft with a 20hp and aux. 7hp Johnsons mounted on the aft and boy did I have a ball with that rig on Lake Ontario and Irondequoit Bay for 15 years. I gave it away and concentrate on fly fishing streams now! Good luck.
