I finally go out fishing, here's proof.
« on: Sep 13, 2004, 10:20 AM »
It seems like I haven't been able to fish for the last month.  >:( Well, I went to visit a friend up in Edmonton this past weekend so I decided to bring the boat and go fishing with him on Sunday. The lake is about forty minutes south of Edmonton or 2 1/2 hours north of Calgary. I managed 22 fish for the day, my buddy got 15, and the girlfriend got three (she read more than she fished  ::) ). We fished from about 12:30 p.m. to about 5 p.m.

Nice walleye:

Fishing isn't a matter of life or death, it's much more important than that!

I live with FEAR everyday, and sometimes she lets me go fishing!

Nice bunch of fish you got there!  Were you allowed to keep any for dinner, or is that lake one of Alberta's many catch and release only lakes?

I lipped a 28" walleye while ice fishing.  Half way out of the hole and the hooked pulled out.  :w00t: :cursing:  Bad idea but I got him! ;D

Beauties VC...  No blood drawn on that trip?  Good gloves, or tough finger.... Sooo how did you get your fingers tough enough to lip walleyes?  So when's the wedding to Mrs. Canuck?

Without question you had a fantastic day.  You are very fortunate to have your girlfriend fishing with you.  I wish I could get my wife interested in the sport even though she has been out only twice and caught fish both times.  Just doesn't appeal to her.
