a nice small steelhead from the clinton river in oakland county...not an outstanding fisherie..but its well on its way thanks to a good stocking program...this one came on a streamer called the nutcracker on my trusty 6 wieght fly rod. good push of fresh fish right before they all got flooded out. hit the river within hours of it being a wash out. got really lucky

just figured how to post pics here..so ill keep this little log for a while.

missin his front side fin..not sure what thats about..they havent stocked them that size in a few years..but yeah..she was sitting on a bed already..kinda feel bad..made for an easy target.

went to the detroit river on friday night..fairly slow night..got one biggin that we released...kept these two eaters.

last saturday in april here...but the detroit river and st.clair rivers are open year round..which is very very nice..i dont keep to many fish..but..like you said..i was hungry for some fillets.
