well last night i got my biggest hook and line carp...it was 25 lbs..shot one pushin 38...but never this big on my rod and reel.. the pics arent the best..i was by myself. about an hour later the girlfiend showed up and got one about 12 lbs..took those with real camera..so ill post when i get the film back.

i let go the hook and line ones...but the shooters are being saved for your guy's stew..lol...actually its in my buddies tomatoe garden.

went out and did some flyfishin for some eater bluegill....of course after taking the pic and begining to gut them..i realized i should have took a picture with a tape measure right there...lol..oh well..t



the bottom gill is  over 10..about 10  3/4...my biggest open water gill..normall dont keep them..but they'll go good with a mess of crappies i got the other day.

a nice small steelhead from the clinton river in oakland county...not an outstanding fisherie..but its well on its way thanks to a good stocking program...this one came on a streamer called the nutcracker on my trusty 6 wieght fly rod. good push of fresh fish right before they all got flooded out. hit the river within hours of it being a wash out. got really lucky

just figured how to post pics here..so ill keep this little log for a while.

i kept the gills and ate them with some crappie i caught..i love bluegill..i just normally dont keep many fish in the summer...not sure why.i would have let him go but neither camera or phone(with camera) comes out with me on my fishing tube...thus he went on the stringer with a few more gills and some more crappies.
