trailer bunks

so i just bought an old trailer from a guy. the bunks need replaced.  is anyone using anyhting other then treated 2x4's rapped in carpet for these????  i have the 2x4's and the carpet just was wondering what my other options are.

Nope just used treated 2x4 on mine

Google----Ultimate Bunk Boards. No carpet needed and very slippery when wet. Your boat will load and unload like they are greased.I have been using them since 2006.
It seems to go from zero to hero all some have to do is lie.
