Hickory Grove
« on: Apr 13, 2008, 06:59 PM »
Tried it this morning from 10:30 till 1:30 had little bites but no takers.
They have added new structure to the lake but it looks like when the ice melted there pallets piles must have moved with the ice flow.
I had the piles marked but I think it's a mystery now.
Hope warmer temp this week will improve the fishing.

Fished April 23 from 5:30-8
Very slow was using a slip bobber and tube jig.
People that we saw catching crappies were using minnows and a slip bobber and they were not killing them by any means.
More reports later.

Zeke Hickory Grove is perkin up pretty good on the Crappies after all the floods got done.  Still a lot of corn stalks floating around and still pretty murky.  Glad to see they finally got the one boat dock back in.
