After seeing you guys make pork the other night. I picked up a whole pork loin at the store. $1.79 a pound. Seemed like a great deal. Cut it into three 4 pound roasts. Wished I had homemade kraut….

Those fermentation lids I used worked great.   Pretty simple. Just suck the air out once a day.  I let mine sit longer then suggested before we opened one and tried it which was great.  I just put the lid back on and sucked it again..
 I did put the other jars in freezer bags in smaller portions and the jar we started is in the refrigerator..
