good morning fellow goats. is all the ice gone out your way? I put my gear away this past week. that hurt. well time to get out the boat. stop by the wisconsin forum if you get the chance.

The ice is gone and time for softwater fishing. Still have to drain the auger and put the gear away. Looks like we are getting about a foot of snow tomorrow but Im sure that will melt fast.

Killed some time yesterday with Mugz by fishing with shiners at A-1. Caught 5 bass. Not a bad couple of hours. 8)

Did that warm spell we had this past weekend hit you guys? Around Wisconsin it certainly started to feel like summer and I went and picked up my boat.

So this is where everyone goes when ice is out..................still like the Shanty though.
Might have to pop in now and again to post some pictures of all the lunkers I'll be catching this summer.
And "YES" the horseshoe still feels intact!!!!!

The Goatboys will be in Westboro this friday night. Some of us will be staying at the Wyndham hotel and should be in the lounge from 3-6. And then we will be having dinner at the Cheng Du chinese restaraunt which is right down the street about 7:00. If your in the neighborhood stop by and say hello.

Goatboys might be doing a camping trip in Rhode Island this month. That is of course I dont screw it up. But I do have plans to fish Maine that weekend. Decisions,decisions!!

Fished Maine last weekend so I could go camping with the Goatboys on the 25th. Eight more days till Goatboy weekend!!!

I hit it as soon and as often as possible when the ice arrives. Fish saturdays with the rest of the Goatboys and sundays with my daughter.

I may be a little out of line here but I predict that the goatboys will be on A-1 on December 18th. Or I will just say that we will be there scouting for ice. ;)

I can see from your recent posts that you really got the ice fishin fever bad but I can't blame ya I cant wait either. Where do you mainly fish?

Mullen, when the ice comes I fish with the rest of the Goatboys every Saturday on the A-1 and Sundays I Fish on local ponds around North Attleboro, Foxboro, and Wrentham.

I've never fished A-1 but I hear only good things will have to make a trip this winter to check it out.

You will more than likely run into us there. Stop in and say hello. The A-1 is not to far from Chauncy on the other side of RT9.

A-1 is a great pond that usually always treats us nice.

It is a ways for me since I live in Methuen, I goto school in Fitchburg which is a little bit closer so hopefully I could make the trip at least once.

I live in Tewksbury which is 5 minutes down 93 from Methuen. A-1 is worth the trip. If you ever want to hook up with us this winter just get in touch with us on iceshanty and we are on the Goatboy Shanty thread.

Well Goatboys, keep your eyes peeled for a place to go fall fishing this year. A nice place on a good lake. MA.ME,or NH. DTM's girlfriend is pregnant so we have to get him fishing asap. Because I have a feeling we wont be seeing him much on the ice this season!! :o

Not much longer until the boat goes back in the water, ice should be gone by early next week.

Do the Goatboys fish open water every saturday like they do in the winter. I had a lot of fun during those outings. I wouldn't mind a goatboys get together striper fishing outing. I have never been and would like to try it.

Im still here. Just havent had the time lately to get on-line. Actually slept in my own bed fo the first time in weeks. Wanted to see if the folks could handle everything by themselves and they did a great job. I will still be stopping over but it looks like I can finally get back to my wife and daughter. They have been great thru this whole ordeal. But I havent heard from Mark lately either. Must be working and fishing!!

Sorry about that, yea it has been extremely slow though. I probably would have more luck fishing in my swiming pool lol. 2 years ago I actually found a fish in the pool before we opened it. We think some bird must of dropped it after picking it up from the pond kind of behind my house.

Im taking my wife to Hampton Beach tomorrow night for our 15th anniversary. But doesnt my buddy call me and asks if I want to head to Maine for the weekend for some bass fishing off his 21 foot bass boat!! I could kill him!!! Im hopeing it rains and all he can do is work on the boat. But he informed me he does have rain gear!! Soon I will be fishing but not soon enough!! :-\

Me and my fellow Goatboy Mugz hit Plum Island for some striper fishing today and it was a blast. Havent seen a fellow Goatboy in a while. Not counting DTM and Robbie!
