just wanted to let everyone know the boat ramps are closed do to the high water levels. :'( :'( hope fully not for long.

Yeh, I saw the barricades yesterday. Now that my boat is all cleaned and waxed, I was gonna splash it tomorrow. Bummer!  >:(

Yeh, I saw the barricades yesterday. Now that my boat is all cleaned and waxed, I was gonna splash it tomorrow. Bummer!  >:(

The ramps are closed for a reason and we should respect that. With the water level so high, wakes from the powerboats erode the shoreline, most of which is owned by tax paying individuals. And there is floating debris (docks, chairs, limbs, etc.) that create a danger to powerboat operators.

The remaining launches are mostly on private property. Few are big enough for anything larger than a car top boat.

mike i have acess to aprivate ramp in middlepond :clapping: 20 more days till lake ontario letS go get those big browns pole cat. FISH ON!

I read somewhere it would take a month at least for water levels to return to normal in some areas.

opening day c.t. this weekend 200 fisher hitting mashapaug get the boat out suck it up. nice fish in there. im heading out early am. get it wet!!!!!! ;D
