I usually sit under there roosting tree and wait till they fly down right next to me, no calling invovled, but I hunt a privite farm with only me my dad and bro can hunt so im sure it is alot different on public land.

Just sit patiently and do a couple of clucks every 15 minutes or so. Keep your eyes open ,they'll generally come in quiet

strange that you need to hunt them. i see them in the roads all the time when i'm out on my bike. i had to stop last year there were so many in the road.
i figure i could just stick out a boot and take one out.  but i think i'd probably break my leg at 40 mph....
