« on: Apr 30, 2010, 04:53 PM »
Have no idea what I'm going to do tomorrow, I'm so torn . . . Chu? Q? Local? New waters? Shore? Boat? Canoe? Carp? Lakers? Bass? Morning? Evening? All day?

Suggestions please . . .

Try the Concord in your Canoe, for you know what, with your supply of perch.

I got seven hooks, three swivels, about 400 yards of tangled fishing line and a sweet folding chair doing that today. A bunch of other trash too.

Jen tells me it should be a morning trip . . . we have plans in the afternoon now.

Make a pond map? Just using me for my hummingbird.

I tried Heards looking for toothy critters last week and came up goose egg. I might pond hop local in the canoe. Maybe even try and hook a koi!

Ya I'm ready fro the Q, might be able to get tuesday off otherwise I may be locked down at work for a week. I don't mind going weekends but I know some folk work on weekends. ??? I just picked up a new line counter today @ BPS so I'm pumped!

Nah, I don't need your hummingbird.  A trolling motor wouldn't hurt, though.   ::)

There's a lot of pike bait in that pond, too.  The morning's no good for me, though.

Well I ended up going to 2 outa the 4 places I wanted. 1st place I drive by a lot and it looks great from the road. Whole place is about 2', loaded with bait but I didn't see a fish over 6" and only had one hit. 2nd pond, private property, 3rd pond, private property, 4 pond, loaded with pickerel, bunch on shiners too.  Least the weather was nice, I found 2 new bait ponds but I don't think I'll be returning to these spots anytime soon. Maybe I'll head to the Chu tomorrow afternoon . . .

I have a trolling motor and good battery, you need to borrow it Scott?
