another hog, this time out of the yak!

Well  I am keeping the report short, finally was taken on a real sleigh ride in the yak by this 7 pounder. taking pics was so hard, the black hatch is like 30 inches, so use that as scale.



 off to block island tomorrow! tight lines, ebour

Right on. You gotta start rigging that kayak so you can take some self pictures. You have to Catch a stiper for a real sleigh ride, but those big larries pull pretty good too.

You can rig up a RAM mount in there.... They make a 1/4 inch stud for the cameras (most of them) that have a 1/4 inch threaded hole in the bottom. Set the 10 second delay, get in position, smile and say cheese!

Allot of the pics I post are taken that way.

Skipper,  she was around 21 I think. Jtk, I had to hold the camera at an angle to get me in it. There was no way that that entire fish would be in the frame holding it myself. I had the big pike drag our CANOE 50 feet. It was sick! Skipper, I will look the mount up. Thanks!

I got Ram mounts all over everything, they have a solution for just about anything. Prices are right on too. You can judge with your hairy eyeball, but mine says that fish is over 21. Here is a pic of a fish that was a solid 21'' we got a few weeks ago. Yours sure looks bigger to me. :)



You gotta get a sticky tape measure in there too.

Well the yak is new to me, it was probably closer to 23 but not the fastest, not super skinny, but proportional to length
