Post your rig.
« on: Apr 18, 2015, 10:10 AM »
Seen some nice boats in other states threads.  I was just working on mine.  1988 Alumacraft 19' with a 140hp looper.  Its about 85% restored.  Bow mount with ipilot and new electronics on the way!

Went on the first ride yesterday.  Everything worked well.  Need a fuse for the livewell...

That's a beautiful looking boat. I'd be thrilled to own something like that. I'd post a photo of mine but it's laughable compared to that:-)

Its not without flaws.  Im going to need a trim and tilt soon...other than that the looper runs nice and 37-38 mph is a decent top speed.  I may sell this end of season...

Dumba it wasnt too expensive...he wanted 7k I paid 5700.

Email at the end of season if you sell:-) I paid about 2K for a small 11 1/2 foot basstender with a 6HP and trailer:-) I am looking to upgrade this season to a true "bass" boat.

Nice boat Jon! Perfect for a day on the lake. Eventually I'll get a little bigger/better boat. For now my 12' aluminum works great for me and my wife. I've never used a trailer to tow anything, probably wreck my boat lol.  It works for the places I fish, wouldn't take it to Quabin size lakes lol :-)

Nice boats.  If I had never gotten married I would have a sweet rig.  Got a 14' fiberglass boat instead.

Gotta get in on this.  Hobie Pro Angler 14. Lots of fun.  Not in the big boy category but it works for me. Tight lines everyone.

All good stuff guys!  Sully thats quite the rig, I have the same seat layout, nice using 2 to lay down!!  Stealth you too, different catagory but certainly a fishing machine as well!  Deerhunter that is just massive!

Keith there is something to be said about fishing spots only your boat can go!  We'll have to get you on it at candlewood sometime.  6000 acres of bass madness!

2015 Hobie Outback.  Will be looking to get a 16ft aluminum split console like sluggos for the Q when the kids get a little older and want to get out.

xjbob I love it!  I am a huge fan of that style of boat!  Will owning a quab boat is awesome!  I was going to put a 9.9 on and get the seal for the opener but my buddy bought a lund tyee for us to tool around in!

Also reminds me I need to build the sides and back for the enclosure.  I'll post pictures when I am done, were using snaps and a snap gun to put them into the denier. And then screw in snaps for the sides and back!
