inflatable pfd's

what do people think of their inflatable pfd's, like the sospenders.  I am thinking of getting a few for the boat and icefishing.  Are they bulky at all or are they nice to wear?  thanks for any info?

I need to do research myself, but for when on hardwater, after this year I will definetly have one for next year. I like to wade the river also & wouldn't probably be a bad idea either.
