Bass night fishing
« on: Jul 07, 2010, 05:24 PM »
Usually I would opt for the normal topwater baits like a jitter bug, frog, popper, walking baits, buzzbait, or spinnerbaits.  However seems like this one time, they were tuned into an inline spinner.  Go figure, never count the inline spinner out.  So far I've only been throwing the #4 Mepps Aglia, but I'd figure that other styles should work as well.

I think the inline is one of the most under rated lures for all fishing applications,. Most tournament anglers default to a spinnerbait or chatterbait... and look over the inlines.

I've never used soft plastice worms by themselves at night.  I will sometimes attache them to a spinnerbait but will usually use other types of creature or beaver tail type plastics.

A nightcrawler under a bobber, works just fine.

Fishing is the sport of drowning worms.

A dark colored spinnerbait with a single colorado blade and be outstanding at night.  Texas rigged berkley power worm in black is a good bet also.

Heck yeah!!!!!  I agree with the guys above.  If you're not getting them on aggressive presentations, try fishing soft plastics for sure...and think black.
