choppy baitcast drag

I have a new abu black max I will be using for ice fishing but the problem is that I have a chop when I pull line out. Never messed with a drag before so im not sure how to fix it.any ideas? Thanks

A good habit to avoid a sticking drag is to make sure you back off the drag when the reel is not in use.  At times, some reels do need a little servicing.  Just a basic reel clean, replace grimey grease and new oil in the bearings.  Some drag, may need dab or two of drag grease.
