I enjoy high for being a reasonably scenic lake. I got hung up on that lake a couple winters ago fished it over and over, spent full days out there and fished it edge to edge and always caught a few gills and/or rockbass but wouldn't say it ever really produced for me the way I'd have liked. Surely someone here is a better fisherman than me and will know how to kill it on that lake

Don't know about Dock for sure, but on other lakes in that chain we catch them suspended over deep water.  Crickets and bee moth have worked well on the other lakes.  Never fished High Lake, but the gills are nice in there if you can find them. I would look for them suspended around the thermocline in that lake as well.
